Satellite and RF Distribution

Satellite systems offer not only video, but are also a source of commercial free music.

Satellite communication has become popular over the last decade. It is being used for all sorts of media.

Another area we specialize in is RF distribution. RF distribution is the concept of adding (modulating) multiple video sources onto a cable or off air antenna signal. You can than amplify and distribute this signal to hundreds of individual TVs. A perfect application of this is the hotel. Click RF distribution (above) for more information.

In the hotel industry, paying for cable in every room can become expensive. At home, you may want to watch satellite on more than one TV in your house without purchasing an additional reciever. RF distribution is the solution.

For the hotel: Create your own quality TV channel selection using satellite receivers. Simply purchase a number of satellite receivers. Set each receiver to the channel you prefer. Design Electronics can take all those receivers and combine them on all on a coaxial cable. Each receiver appears on a different channel on the TV. You can distribute your custom channel mix to all of your hotel.

For the home: Have several TVs in the house and want to be able to watch satellite on them all. Use RF distribution to send the same satellite signal to multiple TVs using only one receiver.
