Boston Pizza
When iconic Canadian restaurant chain Boston Pizza wanted to open a brand new establishment in the heart of Toronto’s Entertainment District that would act as the company’s showcase restaurant for its new urban design concept, franchisee Rob Phillips new exactly who he was going to hire to see the job through to completion.



Hudbay Minerals
When Hudbay Minerals Inc., an international mining and mineral corporation headquartered in the heart of Toronto’s financial district, moved to its new location, the company needed a state-of-the-art, world-class boardroom that would fit with its TSX-listed corporate profile. To accomplish this, they contracted the help of premier A/V integrator, Design Electronics.



Johnny Rocco's
As the premier fine-dining and entertainment establishment in the upscale Lybster Cotton Mill heritage property located in St. Catharines, ON, Johnny Rocco’s Italian Grill has benefited heavily from the complete AV, lighting, and control system provided by Design Electronics. Originally built in 1885, the site has recently undergone a massive redevelopment as a high-end, multiservice facility and resort, catering to a wide variety of functions, events, and regular entertainment options.



Niagara College
Tucked-in amongst the uniform rows of prestigious grapevines and wineries, Niagara College Glendale Campus, centrally located in the picturesque Niagara Peninsula, has been educating the next generation of world-class chefs in its Award winning Culinary & Wine Institute for the past 12 years. To effectively teach these young chefs, Niagara College requires a sophisticated audio/visual culinary kitchen lab that enhances and improves the overall learning experience.



Market Hall Performing Arts Centre
As a vital cultural and heritage landmark in the centre of Peterborough, ON’s bustling downtown core, Market Hall has been a gathering place for the city’s residents for over 120 years. In 1984, the City decided to transform the iconic building into the Market Hall Performing Arts Centre, a multipurpose performance theatre venue designed to host a wide variety of concerts, performing arts groups, youth presentations, community fundraising events, and educational programs.



South Beach Condos
When developers of South Beach, a 27-story, $250 million+, Miami-inspired condominium complex located in the stylish residential area of south Etobicoke’s Humber Shores, were looking to impress upon potential residents the enhanced lifestyle experience, they sought the AV integration expertise of Design Electronics to completely outfit their sales and suite presentation showroom.



Wegz Stadium Bar
Since its opening in the early 2000s, Wegz Stadium Bar, located in Vaughn, ON, has relied on a Design Electronics A/V and control system to keep its clientele entertained and connected to a full complement of sports programming, reinforced by a crystal clear, state-of-the-art sound system. Offering valuable input during the design stage, Design Electronics saw-through with the complete installation, optimization, and programming of the over 90 HD screens, ten 10-square foot projector screens, and one massive 16’ x 22’ HD projection theatre style screen that are strategically placed throughout the popular, 23,00 sq. ft. sports themed restaurant and bar.



Donald Lamont Learning Centre
Design Electronics was tasked with updating the Donald Lamont Learning Centre of the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC), by integrating a flexible and robust A/V system that would provide an innovative conferencing, presentation, and learning platform. The technology requirements for the room included a broadcast quality video system with switchers and processing, high-definition PTZ cameras, a DMX controlled three-point lighting system, Panasonic projectors, assisted listening system, and Cobranet enabled mixer for audio control.
